Sara and Camile, with their ever-present smiles, go above and beyond to assist the residents, making us feel truly cared for. The building exudes a serene atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and enjoying peaceful moments at home. Its prime location is a definite plus, and the cleanliness is consistently maintained, which we greatly appreciate. Plus, the highlight of our year is being able to watch the 4th of July fireworks from our balcony. A heartfelt thank you to Dittmar and the entire Amelia staff for their outstanding service Att Jesus Johana.

|Recommended: YesIt’s a very nice apartment. — Very good
|Recommended: YesLove the ambience — Absolutely love it here. Its quiet and its sound. I feel at home here.
|Recommended: YesClean, friendly and helpful staff, parking is convenient — Staff is very friendly the overall appearance of the building is clean, location is perfect. The parking situation is a plus - most apartment buildings give you only 1 option for a parking spot - my roommate and I are both able to have reserved spots.
|Recommended: YesCharming and Cozy Living — This is an apartment complex that prioritizes character and detail in their living spaces over anything else. The Amelia has warm tones both in design and in their staff. The rooms themselves are soundproof as best they can be as the loudest of noises from large trucks are muffled indoors with the windows shut. The only part of the apartment not soundproofed is the front door, so I can hear people pass by if they're being extra loud, but it is never a nuisance. I highly recommend this apartment complex for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable living space.
|Recommended: YesIt's the place you want to live — It located in a quiet part of a medium city where everything is in walking distance but none of it is at your front door. If you like to get away from the big city feel but have the ability to access all of the things you like about a city in a comfortable and clean apartment, you will find it in the Amelia.
|Recommended: YesGreat place to live. — Great property, great staff
|Recommended: YesGreat location and great staff — The property is clean and well kept and the staff is super friendly. It's in walking distance to so many great places to eat as well as conveniently located between two metro stops. My move-in process was the easiest I have ever experienced and I've moved a lot . The only thing I will caution is that it right up against a busy street, so I am constantly hearing noise from the street and cars and sometimes my neighbor's sound bar. Otherwise, I really like the space, the natural lighting and being able to get to wherever I need to go easily.
|Recommended: YesPerfect — Excellent location, beautiful building with all the amenities.
|Recommended: YesAmazing gem in VA Square — The Amelia has been wonderful. This is the fifth place I've lived since moving to Northern Virginia six years ago - which includes a building just down the street from The Amelia - and this one has been by far the best. I love the high ceilings, layout, wide windows that provide tons of natural light, and the fact we're so close to Ballston and VA Square but still tucked away in a quiet area right by Oakland Park. I never hear my neighbors, though do hear folks if they're in the hall. There are so many little details that make it extra special that you wouldn't notice at first but really help - like extra shelves in closets for storage, a big pantry in the kitchen, a super quiet fan in the bathroom, a shower curtain rod that curves outward - making the shower feel more spacious. I could go on. Grace and Camille have been so helpful and kind as well, and have always been available to answer my questions in the most pleasant way.
|Recommended: YesComfort of a Home — I love living here It is quiet and peaceful. Things work smoothly. Grace and Camille are amazing and always helpful with anything you need. I highly recommend the Amelia.
|Recommended: YesSpacious quiet apartment building — I truly enjoyed my two years living at the Amelia. The location is perfectly situated between Ballston and Clarendon and is only one block away from the metro stop.
The building is super quiet - there was never a ton of activity in the lobby or hallways which I appreciated and I never heard my neighbors through the walls or above me.
The apartments are super spacious, have tons of storage, and have great natural light.
Camille and Grace are very responsive and helpful to any questions I had. I will truly miss seeing them every day
|Recommended: YesThumbs up — Has been nice so far. The property staff are all super nice, and the location is great for the metro.
|Recommended: YesLove The Amelia — The Amelia has been a wonderful place to live for the past 2.5 years. The apartment is open, updated, light-filled, and I love the high ceilings. The only thing I would change is the carpet in the main areas. Maintenance has always been responsive and comes quickly to fix any minor issue. The best thing about living at the Amelia is the wonderful women who make sure this place looks amazing, Grace and Camille. They are so nice and have helped me with any issues I've had in the past. I have loved living here and would recommend it to anyone
